Palazzo della Racchetta turns blue: Fratelli d’Italia presents the candidates

Room packed with people for the presentation of the list of Brothers of Italy candidates. At the table, together with the mayor Alan Fabbri, present the local and national leaders of the party, the senator Alberto Balboni, the provincial president and leader Alessandro Balboni, the honorable Mauro Malaguti, the municipal coordinator Chiara Scaramagli and the group leader of Fratelli d’Italia of the Senate of the Republic Lucio Malan.

“There are 750 citizens of Ferrara who signed the list of Brothers of Italy even if we then only presented 560 – begins Senator Balboni – Our list is made up of 32 candidates, it was not an easy selection because as you know Brothers of ‘Italy in the city of Ferrara alone has 350 members. Yesterday at 8 we were the first to present our list to the electoral commission and we are very satisfied with the quality and abilities of our candidates. Our candidates have no criminal record, as attested by the criminal record of pending charges, and are divided equally between men and women”.

“Having listened to the list and seen the candidates – underlines the group leader of Fratelli d’Italia Lucio Malan – I must say that it is truly a very strong and very beautiful list that represents the various sectors of society. It is very significant that Senator Balboni introduced the candidates by personally telling their story. I am proud to be here today in front of a team of candidates and leaders of Fratelli d’Italia because I see motivated and serious people. It is essential to remember that the direct opponent is non-voting, we remind voters that the few minutes it takes to vote will then influence the next five years of Ferrara’s life.”

“We have achieved important results in these five years – explains the list leader and councilor Alessandro Balboni – but we still have a lot of work to do. The good governance of FdI and mayor Fabbri has brought 26 million euros of European funds to Ferrara, think what we could do in the next mandate by continuing to invest in the search for funding to invest in Ferrara. We have earned the citizens’ trust in the field thanks to continuous and incessant work which has always put the needs of the citizens of Ferrara first. We have achieved concrete results, such as the planting of more than 15 thousand trees, the redevelopment of some areas of the city such as Piazza Cortevecchia and the important Memorandum of Understanding which sees the Municipality as the leader in the energy and ecological transition project of the petrochemical Ferrara”.

Also making a speech before the end was Mayor Alan Fabbri, who recalled the importance of putting your face forward and rewarding the commitment and dedication of those who are running to govern Ferrara for a second term.
