Busto Arsizio, 60-year-old Albanian begged and threatened people: expelled

A homeless convicted felon created urban safety problems for soup kitchens and voluntary associations. The exasperated volunteers alerted the Local Police who, after appropriate checks, obtained the definitive expulsion from Italy.

BUSTO ARSIZIO – The agents of the Emergency Unit of the Local Police of Busto Arsizio carried out the expulsion of a 60-year-old Albanian who had been creating quite a few urban security problems for months. The man, already known to the police, used to frequent soup kitchens for the poor and voluntary associations in the city, where he begged for money in an often aggressive and threatening manner.

In recent times, the 60-year-old’s behavior had become unsustainable, so much so that volunteers from the canteens and associations asked for the intervention of the Local Police. The agents, coordinated by the officers of the Operations Department, started a series of investigations which allowed the situation to be reconstructed and the man to be traced.

The background check revealed that the 60-year-old had already been subjected to various police measures. In light of this information, and in agreement with the Immigration Office of the Varese Police Headquarters, a definitive expulsion order from the national territory was issued.
