It’s another 0-0 that smiles on Taranto who goes through the round and goes to the national play-off phase. A match approached decidedly better by the Ionian players undoubtedly favored by the foolishness of Murano who was kicked out in the first half for an elbow to Miceli. An episode that terribly complicated Picerno’s match, which in the long run never really created any danger for the Apulians. In the first half there was an excellent start for Taranto who, unlike the match against Latina, started with the right attitude and good determination. Capuano’s initial 3-5-2 surprises everyone with a different tactical attitude than usual. The move by Ladinetti and Matera is made to prevent too much space for Picerno. But the decisive episode of this half and of the match is the expulsion of Murano who, with an unfortunate elbow to Miceli detected by VAR, leaves his team numerically inferior.
