The research of Cristian Casiar Molnar, the 25-year-old young man of Romanian nationality missing since Friday in the Natisone river, resumed this morning for the 6th consecutive day. Even today, like yesterday, around 80 people including firefighters and volunteers from the FVG Civil Protection are mobilized with helicopters, drones and various specific boats for this type of operation. The research area covers a vast area of the Natisone up to the confluence with the Torre, which in turn is a tributary of the Isonzo.

After the recent floods, the Natisone river is now almost dry in several places. For this reason, given the difficulties of navigation, Cristian’s searches are mainly concentrated on foot patrols along the embankment and in the surrounding bush, with the aid of drones. Fire fighters and civil protection, who easily manage to cross the waterway at various points, are supported by canine units.

Citizen mourning was declared today in Udine. A religious ceremony with an Orthodox rite is planned for Patrizia and Bianca at the closing of the funeral home, after which the two bodies will be repatriated to Romania for the funeral.

The Natisone river, after the floods that swept away the 3 boys in Premariacco, is now almost dry in several places. For this reason, on the 6th day of searches for Cristian Molnar, missing since Friday, priority is being given to foot patrols along the embankment and in the adjacent bush, with the use of drones. Fire fighters and civil protection, who easily manage to cross the waterway in several places, are supported by canine units.
