COSENZA – Both a Corigliano Rossano and Montalto Uffugoi two centers in the province of Cosenza with populations exceeding 15 thousand inhabitants in which voting takes place on 8 and 9 June, there are three candidates for the office of mayor.
They will compete in Montalto Uffugo Mauro D’Acri, which it was regional councilor and in the period in which the council was chaired by Mario Oliverio it was ithe delegated councilor for Agriculturesupported from 9 lists; Biagio Faragalli, former municipal councilor, also supported by 9 lists, and Emilio Viafora, trade unionist, supported by part of the Cosenza Democratic Party and who can count on only one list.
B.Cthey eavesdrop on the current mayor Flavio Stasi in Rossano supported by the PD and the 5 Star Movement (who found the alliance) the Green and Left Alliance and various civic movements for a total of 8 lists. The two other candidates for mayor are Pasqualina Straface, current Italian regional councilor supported by the centre-right (Forza Italia, Fratelli d’Italia, Lega) and Action with Calenda as well as some civic lists for a total of eight lists and Domenico Piattellosupported by the civic list «Movimento politica Associazione Italia nel cuore».
