Aversa (Caserta) – “Work in progress” with the students of the SSPG ofInstitute understanding “De Curtis” of Aversa, directed by the professor Carmen Del Vecchiowho are preparing with a very special banner to end on a high note on the morning of Saturday 18 Maythe itinerant reading path of the project “In search of lost words and voices” of the association “AversaTurismo” and shared in the activities of the “De Curtis” PTof.
Under the supervision of the teacher Gloriana Di Martino and the teacher Loredana Paganothe students will celebrate the last meeting with a special moment, coinciding with “May of Books 2024”. Piazza Santulli, a significant place which bears the name of an illustrious Aversa man, will be symbolically “rededicated” as “Gift Square”, intended as a place of sharing, welcoming, memories and experiences. The city will be experienced as well as a “open book” capable of “telling” and transmitting memories, life, stories and capable of listening to new ones.
The idea of the new name also comes from the idea that the square is located social bookshop “Il Gift”the place where the kids with the person in charge, professor Fortunato Allegro, they meet up and have the opportunity to share the “gift” of being together, of culture, of the exchange of ideas and experiences. The historic headquarters of the “Dono”, a Palazzo Gaudiosowhich has already welcomed the children of “De Curtis” on the other days of itinerant readings, will then host the reading and creative writing activities in which the students will be involved.
