The semi-finals of the two groups of Third Category Ravenna begin this afternoon at the Comunale di Piangipane: at 4.30 pm, the Coyotes and Carpinello, the only team from Forlì in the Byzantine third, will face each other. In the championship each of the teams won their home match: in Piangipane the locals won 4-1 with a brace from Michele Bertilotti and goals from Paolo Bertilotti as well as Baldi, who also scored in the first leg, won 4-3 by Carpinello . Tomorrow the group A program will be completed with the great “Sabino di Nunno” derby between Mezzano, second at the end of the regular season, and Polisportiva Camerlona, eighth and protagonist, surprisingly, of the elimination in the quarterfinals of the Compagnia dell’ Tree. Also tomorrow the two semi-finals of group B will be played: in Reda di Faenza the locals face Villanova – who eliminated Sporting Lugo – and at the Parish Church of Prada, however, Prada-Lugo will be played, sensational in the quarter-finals, with the victory by 6-2 over Giovecca.
It is fair to remember that at the end of the matches – it is played in a one-off match – in the event of a tie, two extra times will be played and in the event of a further tie, the best-placed team at the end of the regular season will advance. The two winners of each group will compete next Sunday for the finals, with very wide possibilities for the victorious teams to move up to the Second Category next season.
