LIVORNO – Initiative dedicated to wine with boat tours waiting for Barontini Cup. As part of the events that precede the rowing race scheduled for June 15th, Wine tourism organize a meeting between wine and oar.
The event is scheduled for Thursday 6 June The Cellar in the Cellarwhich offers a real twinning between rowing cellars and wine cellars: at 6 pm the boat tour, reserved for the press, sommeliers and supporters of the rowing competition, with participants meeting at the Fortezza Gate (Maritime Station entrance).
Around 6.30pm, when the boat returns, the initiative will continue at Granary Silosentrance again from the Fortezza gate, with the award ceremony of the graphic competition “Design the Barontini label”, created with the participation of the Morellino di Scansano Protection Consortium, in which students from the Cecioni and Vespucci-Colombo schools participated.
Following this, the pairing between the wine cellars participating in the initiative and the rowing cellars will take place. It will be to extract the pairs between weapons and wines Letizia Tinghimultiple Olympic roller skating champion, vice-president of the National Association of Italian Olympic Athletes.
The event will end with an aperitif and tasting of the wines of the producers of the Enoturistica Wine Cellars.
