CIVITAVECCHIA – «The goal has been reached. In a few days the resolution of the problem of civic uses in our city will in fact be made official by the Lazio Region.”
Thus the municipal councilor of the Civitavecchia League Pasquale Marino who returns to the age-old affair.
«While waiting to see the justice that thousands of families have asked of us in recent years – urges the Salvinian -, it is right first of all to give credit to the working group appointed by President Rocca, of which I was part as Delegate of the Mayor Ernesto Tedesco together to the representative of the Committees and by qualified managers and technicians of the public administration. From the work of these months a final document has emerged (draft resolution of the regional council, already sent to the competent councillor) which will be approved by the Regional Council as soon as possible”.
For Marino, a fundamental contribution to achieving this result was «that of the members of the Civic Uses Committee, whom I thank, and who made fundamental historical documents available. With this resolution of the Council, all the lands relating to the over 5000 families who for years have seen their properties unfairly burdened by civic uses will be freed from all constraints. A great result – he concludes – for many of our fellow citizens.”
