Imperial Theater of Guidonia, this evening the Gala Opera Concert

After the success of the previous editions held in Galati Mamertino (ME), Monterotondo, Guidonia Montecelio and Tivoli, to celebrate the tenth year of the Jole De Maria International Opera Competition, we returned to the Imperial Theater of Guidonia, where at 8.30 pm today, there will be the final evening open to the public.

Fifty opera singers from all over the world performed in the preliminary and semi-final rehearsals to arrive this evening at the gala final evening, in the form of a concert. During the evening, the actress Francesca Valtorta will present the prizes to the winners and there will be a short screening describing the mezzo-soprano to whom the competition is dedicated, Jole De Maria, who died of cancer; precisely to help all the people who suffer from this pathology, funds will be raised for cancer research.

The Arcipelago cultural association, organizer of the opera competition, President Eleonora Vicario, has had as its primary aim, since its foundation in 2001, the fight against this disease and for this reason it was rewarded with a medal sent by the President of the Republic.
