Herculaneum. The Carabinieri carried out a precautionary custody order in prison issued by the investigating judge of the Naples court at the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, against GS, aged 34, and ME, aged 26, residents of Ercolano and currently detained for another reason.

The investigations conducted by the Carabinieri Tenenza of Ercolano, relating to a theft which took place on 19 February in the Giampaglia-Iaccarino school institute of Ercolano, made it possible to acquire indications of guilt against GS who, despite being under house arrest at the own home for another reason, after having entered the school at night, after breaking into some access doors, he was responsible for the theft of several PCs and other IT tools.

Serious indications of guilt were also acquired against ME, who was held responsible for the crime of receiving stolen goods from one of the PCs.

The Carabinieri, immediately after the events, had recovered a large part of the stolen property found at the homes of the two suspects, returning it to the director of the school.

The precautionary measure was issued against GS because the investigations made it possible to acquire serious indications of guilt against the accused who, despite being under house arrest at his home for another reason, was said to have been responsible last February of the theft of the sum of 550 euros and various materials from a gym in Herculaneum.
