Do you live in the Apuan Alps? Do you know that it is a UNESCO World Geopark? Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Global Geopark Network: grab a pen, paper or camera and unleash your creativity! Thus, the Apuan Park/Geopark, which has been part of the Network since 2011 thanks to its geological heritage of international importance and the enormous geodiversity of its territory, launches the three competitions to promote the geological-environmental and historical-cultural heritage and strengthen the bond with the territory. Three types of competition: Visual Odyssey of the Earth: This photography competition invites you to capture the intimate dance between people and geology. This is not a simple journey through the Apuan territory, but a journey of the heart that celebrates the bonds with the silent narrators within our Earth.Stories of Stone: Share and immortalise in black and white your personal narratives and the unique connection with the natural wonders of the Geopark. Your story, whether it involves a pebble, a mineral, or a landscape, adds to the Earth’s collective saga. The five senses of your Geopark: Open to young people aged 12 to 18, this competition offers the opportunity to express the unique sensory experiences in the Geopark. Are you ready to use all your senses? Listen to the sounds that define your mornings, unique to your area. Breathe in the smells that transport you to another place when you close your eyes. Capture the beauties that make you smile. Enjoy local flavors that make your mouth water, be it dishes, plants or drinks. Use touch to activate sensations so familiar to you that they immediately tell you where you are.
