The police arrive outside the school

Yesterday was an evening of great tension, at the culmination of weeks of very difficult relationships between parents and the head teacher. At the base there is a lack of discussion between the manager and parents, with a delegation of the latter demonstrating all their impatience outside the Glauco Fiorini middle school in Villafranca, the headquarters of the “Beatrice Portinari” comprehensive school 9. The institute includes two nursery schools, two elementary schools and a middle school spread across the hamlets of Villafranca, San Martino in Villafranca and Roncadello. While the teachers’ college was in progress, a few dozen parents were waiting outside to meet the principal Sonia Mastroleo. The teachers’ meeting ended around 8.30 pm and after the teachers left, the parents wanted to confront the principal “face to face”, who called the police. A call that was also made by the parents themselves, so in the end a heated confrontation could take place under the supervision of the police. A meeting with a anything but serene atmosphere, the last episode of a conflictual relationship that at the moment seems far from a solution.
