Livigno will host Palermo’s summer training camp. Bormio that of Pisa

Palermo will be guests in Livigno next summer, for a period of preparation in view of the 2024-2025 championship. News that comes at a key moment in the season of the Rosanero, a Serie B team, about to play the playoffs for promotion to the top flight.

The team will arrive in Livigno on 7 July, where they will stop for two weeks, taking advantage of the benefits offered by training at altitude and the cutting-edge facilities made available by Little Tibet, starting from the Aquagranda Olympic Preparation Centre, a international interest that attracts hundreds of Olympic and non-Olympic athletes, representing dozens of disciplines and federations. To welcome them, the rosanero will therefore also find a good dose of tourists, who like every year, in the summer, reach Livigno for their active holidays, dedicated to sport and more. The perfect context, both to best prepare for the 2024 – 2025 season, which will still be full of great sporting aspirations, and to enjoy a unique landscape, cultural and social setting.

But Bormio will also host a B team this summer, Pisa. The Nerazzurri from Pisa take over from Como who had trained in the Alta Valle in recent years. This year the Como coach, about to win promotion to the top flight, Cesc Fabregas has opted for his Spain to start training for next season. But the Como company was the “sponsor” of Bormio, given that it had an excellent experience during its stay in the Magnifica Terra, it acted as a promoter, bringing Pisa and Bormio into contact and so the Tuscans will be the ones to tread the pitch in via Manzoni. This season the Nerazzurri of coach Alberto Aquilani, former player of Roma, Juve, Milan and the national team, have achieved their goal of survival. The official nature of the agreement has not yet been given, but it seems there should soon be a joint press conference between Pisa and Us Bormiese which, as usual, deals with hospitality. After a quarter of a century, Tuscan will be spoken again in the Bormina summer. In fact, the series of great retirements of professional teams at the end of the nineties began with Batistuta’s Fiorentina led on the bench by Giovanni Trapattoni. The Nerazzurri will return to fashion in Via Roma after the roaring years of Ronaldo’s Inter. Pisa went bankrupt twice in the 2000s, starting from Eccellenza and then from Serie D, but has now found a stable ownership structure. Paolo Ghilotti
