The collaboration aims to integrate the excellence in scientific research of the neurological institute of Pavia with the Aosta Valley healthcare facilities

L’Local health authority of the Aosta Valley announces a new collaboration for the neurological research with the Casimiro Mondino Neurological Institute Foundation Of Pavia.

The partnership aims to «define new standards in research and assistance in neurosciences”, explains the Aosta Valley health company. «The convention brings into play adirect and continuous interaction between the two institutions, focused on neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson And Alzheimer’s, cerebrovascular disorders such as stroke And headaches, and other complex neurological pathologies.”

Guido Giardinidirector of Neurology atParini hospital, explains: «we have formalized a close collaboration with an internationally renowned neuroscience institute, which is also the home of the neurological clinic of the University of Pavia, again this year at the top of the Italian ranking for medical faculties. THE Aosta Valley patients will be able to benefit from very experienced doctors in various fields of clinical neurology, such as headaches and epilepsy, and of diagnostic techniques neurophysiological studies such as electromyography and electroencephalography.
