The “Esseneto” stadium in Agrigento has been registered and is therefore officially registered according to the basic and identification data required by the relevant legislation.
The mayor Francesco Miccichè and the municipal councilor with responsibility for sports facilities, Gerlando Piparo, comment: “This is a measure that has been awaited for almost 70 years, and which marks the beginning of a new chapter for the historical, sporting and culture of the city. The stacking of the stadium is an important recognition of its value, from which the maximum commitment to conservation and redevelopment will derive, enhancing it for present and future generations. We thank all those who have worked with perseverance and dedication towards this goal.”
