The Picerno it imposes itself 2-0 on the Crotone to the ‘Donato Curcio‘ and gets through a Serie C play-off round for the first historic time. The hosts try to manage the result and exalt themselves in the spaces granted by the Calabrians, dangerous first with a shot from Vinicius from inside the area which involves Summa and then with a split volley from Tumminello who misses the target on the developments of a corner. The guests didn’t let go and tried everything in the final, coming close to equalizing with an imperious header from Tumminello who summoned Summa to a miracle. Picerno manages to hold on and, after scoring the second goal with Santarcangelo for a few moments before being disallowed for offside, he seriously scores the second goal at the last second with a surgical right-footed shot. D’Agostino which leaves no way out for D’Alterio. The season of the troop of Zauli thus ends after just one game in the post-season, while the boys of Longo they fly to the second play-off round where they will face Taranto away with only one result available: victory. Emmanuele Esposito (Picerno): superlative performance from the Lucanian captain. He offers very high quality plays to his fans and manages to really cause panic in the opposing defense. He scores an extraordinary goal from the edge of the box with an unstoppable left-footed shot under the top corner and leaves the pitch well into the hour after taking a knock. IMPLACABLE

Vinicius Negro by Stefano (Crotone): the best of the Pythagoreans. He runs at breakneck speed in the middle of the pitch and also recovers several important balls in the attacking half of the pitch. He also manages to create dangers for the opposing rearguard with some insertions inside the penalty area. He comes out exhausted only in the eightieth minute in place of a player with more imagination like D’Errico. HAPPY NOTE

FLOP:

None (Picerno): historic victory for a now well-established reality. Longo’s boys show all their dribbling skills at times and manage to masterly read every moment of the match. They punished the Pythagoreans for the first mistake and managed the result with little danger until they doubled their lead at the last second. EXTRAORDINARY

Guido Gomez (Crotone): the worst of the Calabrian team. He makes a few too many wrong choices in the last sixteen meters and wastes at least two important opportunities in front of Summa. He also makes a bad mistake in the first half which leads to Esposito’s goal and directs the match in favor of the Lucanians. An evening to forget for the center forward with 15 goals in the season. INSUFFICIENT
