The new angiograph supplied to the Interventional Angiography UOS was inaugurated at the “Bonomo” hospital in Andria, in the Radiology Operating Unit. Financed with PNRR funds and with additional regional funding sources for a total amount of almost one million euros, it is a latest generation digital equipment which, thanks in particular to the integration of the 3D guide to neuroradiology and interventional radiology procedures , will allow interventions to be carried out with maximum precision and safety, with the use of significantly lower radiation doses for the benefit of patients and operators. It is also designed to reduce intervention times.
The angiograph also allows you to perform targeted CT scans in order to carry out checks on procedures just performed in the same room without the need to transfer the patient to other diagnostic rooms. Technology that adds to the other innovations arriving at the “Bonomo”.
