BUSTO ARSIZIO – «From the union of different traditions a transparent culture». It is the motto with which she presented herself for the first time in Busto Arsizio, with a gazebo in the central Via Milano, the new Linda Aps associationfounded last April 5th with the declared objective of do good through aggregative initiatives. «We are called Linda because we want to emphasize transparency – she explains the president Silvestro Iorioretired financier – we seek visibility without political connotations or other forms of “pollution””.
The objectives
Already 151 registered in ten days, plus at least one hundred more registrations collected only this morning at the gazebo. The challenge of Linda Aps, who she has among the founding members Nazareno Cassani (former president of Compagnia del Fare) e Simone Orsi (city councilor), does not stop at the borders of Busto Arsizio and is already networking with a series of entities present in the area, including The Carramatta by Nunzio Cascino. «The idea – says President Iorio – is to merge the various cultures that make up the city and the territory revive traditions and enhance them through cultural meetings, musical events, shows linked to local folklore, social and solidarity initiatives, conferences and debates but also services for members”. With the aim, he adds vice president Salvatore Rappaof «doing good, which is what interests us most».
The initiatives
And then the adventure is launched. And the association is already aiming to expand to other cities in the province, where there are people ready to sign up. Soon Linda Aps will unveil the first initiatives in the area, with the spirit of networking with the associations already active and involving citizens, starting with the friends of Carramatta. «We try to help everyone, from the Bianca Garavaglia Association to Cuffie Colorate” reveals Nunzio Cascino, who has been living in Busto for 51 years and has been active for eight years with a folkloristic reality created in memory of his brother Giuseppe. «And we are ready to do it with Linda Aps too».
