Alessandro Plizzari, goalkeeper of Pescara Calcio who grew up in Milan, proved to be the best goalkeeper in the entire Serie C. Decisive for the Delfino, he was the architect of a great regular season despite the fluctuating progress of his Delfino. And he is already a transfer man, given that higher category teams are already winking and the cadet sirens are singing at him. Keeping him on the Adriatic won’t be easy but with the white and blue on him he has relaunched himself after a few difficult seasons. He is still young, even though he has already been playing for several years and looks like a veteran.

The goalkeeper, born in 2000, defended the posts for the Abruzzo team in all 38 matches in group B of the Serie C NOW, collecting over three thousand minutes on the pitch. And some time ago his contribution to the Pescara cause, his past and his ambitions were spoken about on Aperi C, the official broadcast of the Lega Pro.

“Zeman left me a lot. He helped me understand the importance of effort and it is thanks to him that I started to appreciate types of training that I didn’t like before. We all want to give him a great end to the season and we will do our best for him, for the fans and for the club. There is the possibility of finishing the championship well and we want to get to the playoffs in the best conditions” – this is how the Pescara goalkeeper began on the broadcast.

Then, a dive into his past: “I owe a lot to Milan, it was my second family. There I grew 360 degrees, both as a footballer and as a man. I was trained by two fantastic people, two extraordinary professionals, like Nelson Dida and Gigi Ragno. Being in close contact with champions of the caliber of Dida, Maignan and Tatarusanu I had the opportunity to fully experience a fantastic reality that is very difficult to achieve. Then the time came to detach myself from what I consider my “mother house”. It was complicated, but I needed to have new experiences to create a space for myself outside of Milan.”

“I was returning from an injury and so I asked Dida to do the same training as him for a week. After seven days, I found myself with a fever of 39 degrees due to the excessive workload. This makes us understand how difficult and tiring it is to become a champion” – revealed Plizzari, telling an anecdote about those years.

Lastly, speaking about the Pescara environment and its future: “I have some objectives that I hope to achieve and today I hope to be able to change category with Pescara. I feel good here, the city is fantastic and I love the sea and kebabs. I don’t know where I see myself in the next few years, but I live football from week to week.”
