Liceo Vecchi, three students on the podium of the Asimov Prize

Excellent results for the students of the Liceo Vecchi of Trani, of which Dr. Angela Tannoia is the head teacher, for the 2024 edition of the Asimov Prize: the competing students of the Liceo Vecchi won a first, a second and two third prizes , for having reviewed the essays proposed by the organization of the “Asimov Prize”, a recognition reserved for particularly deserving popular works and scientific essays, which has Infn among its promoters.
These are the winners: Nicolò Ferrante – class 3^C reviewed text “Climate 2050 Mathematics and Physics for the future of the Earth”
Alessandro Falco – class 3^C – reviewed text “Climate 2050 Mathematics and Physics for the future of the Earth”;
Marco Mezzina – 3rd Csa class reviewed text “Other lands: journey to discover extrasolar planets”;
Michela Petruzzelli (ex aequo) – class 3^B reviewed text “The tailor-made Universe. Journey into the incredible cosmic coincidences that allow us to be here”.
The winners, together with all the students of the third classes, participated in the awards ceremony and in particular the winners were given the exclusive opportunity to converse with the authors and promoters of the award, remotely, all at the conclusion of the project valid as a Path for Transversal Skills and Orientation.
Congratulations to the students and their teachers for the excellent result achieved which confirms Vecchi as the undisputed School of excellence in our territory
