RIETI – The first round of the quarter-finals of the Serie A2 playoffs ended today with Fortitudo Bologna’s victory against Treviglio. In the silver bracket where Real Sebastiani Rieti is placed, the Bolognese move ahead 1-0 in the series thanks to a 78-65 win against PalaDozza. Fortitudo’s show of strength (on Real Sebastiani Rieti’s side of the scoreboard) with an overflowing Ogden, author of 22 points in just 24 minutes.
On the other fields, an away victory for Urania Milano after an endless battle with Verona which ended 116-125 after two extra times: a Buva with 41 points was not enough for the Veronese, Beverly and Severini completed the comeback by taking the match to extra time and an Aristide Landi scored 32 points with 6 triples and decided the first act of the series.
Respect the favors of the prediction Trapani which beats Piacenza 90-69. Sicilians who, after a contractual start, unleash their potential. Mobio top scorer with 20 points starting from the bench and 1-0 for coach Andrea Diana’s team.
