Fake nurse caught by the NAS in the province of Cuneo, her ‘treatments’ are now on trial
In the province of Cuneo, a 33-year-old woman, originally from Bra, was sued for having worked as a nurse without possessing the necessary qualifications. The investigation, conducted by the Carabinieri of the Alessandria Health Protection Unit, revealed an intricate web of professional abuse and falsifications.
The woman, whose name was not made public, allegedly presented false self-certifications, claiming to have the credentials required to carry out the role of nurse. However, by cross-referencing the data with the Order of Nursing Professions (OPI) and local universities, it emerged that not only was she not registered in the professional register, but she had abandoned her nursing studies.

Despite this, between April 2019 and October 2022, the woman practiced her profession in various health facilities and retirement homes in the province, including Revello, Cavallermaggiore and Piasco. You will now have to answer for your actions in front of the Court of Cuneo.
The accusations made against him are serious: abuse of profession and falsification. According to the competent authorities, the woman falsely certified that she had a degree and was registered with the OPI. This behavior not only jeopardized the health and safety of the patients in her care, but also undermined trust in the healthcare system.
The first hearing is scheduled for May 14, and the woman will be defended by the lawyer Roberto Ponzio, based in Alba. Meanwhile, the investigation continues to cause a stir and raise questions about qualification verification and hiring procedures in the healthcare industry.
