Collemar-athon Fano, great success at the 20th edition

Fano, 5 May 2024 – A great celebration for sport and the territory. More than 1,350 runners, coming from 21 different countriesplayed the three tests this morning twentieth edition of the ColleMar-athonthe international marathon from Barchi di Terre Roveresche to Fano. 650 of them tested themselves on the distance of 42.195 kilometers which started from Barchi, 600 of them at the Half Colle Mar-athon (21.0975 km) which started from Mondolfo and 100 of them at the 10 kilometers and everyone found themselves under the spectacular finish line positioned at the Arco d’Augusto in Fano. In the key race, it is worth highlighting the return to success of an Italian athlete, who had been missing since the 2016 edition. The one to cross the finish line first, after a solitary ride, was the Frosinone Carmine Buccilli, 41 year old from Etrusca Asd, with a time of 2 hours, 27 minutes and 54 seconds. Behind his back Matteo Lucchese of Atletica Avis Castel San Pietro Asd, who finished in 2h 33′ 08”, and third place for the Moroccan Youness Zitouni of the Osteria dei Podisti with 2h 34′ 19”. Among women, victory of Croatian Marija Vrajic of Ak Maksimir, who had already triumphed at the ColleMar-athon in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. His time was 3 hours, 6 minutes and 8 seconds. Behind her Chiara Bertino of the Asd Podistica Torino (3h 12′ 41”) and third place for Federica Poesini of Atletica Castello (3h 13′ 51”). All Italian podiums in the Half Colle Mar-athon. Among men success of Gian Marco Bertini of Fano Corre, who finished in 1h 16′ 09”, preceding Mirco Cimarelli of Cus Camerino (1h 16′ 57”) and Angelo Amoroso of Atletica Civitanova (1h 17′ 57”). In the women’s field, dominance of Chiara Camporesi of Asd Dinamo Sport, who reached the finish line in 1 hour, 29 minutes and 10 seconds. Second place went to Alice Cuscini from the Cinque Cerchi club (1h 34′ 56”) and third went to Francesca Carboni from Fano Corre (1h 35′ 12”). In the 10 km first place in the men’s ranking for Luca Jannuzzo of the Asd Podistica Torino, ahead of Andrea Fiorani of Fano Corre and Lorenzo Boinega of Atletica Urbania. Success among women Giulia Morbidelli, prevailed over Federica Lorenzini and Monia Palazzesi. The Half ColleMar-athon was valid as Italian Paralympic Half Marathon Championship. In the various categories they earned the tricolor title Simone Colasuonno, Serena Banzato, Vincenzo Cascella, Pierluigi Maggio, Giovanni Pili D’Ottavio, Gennaro Iorio and Giacomo Grillo. Applause from competitors and authorities for the impeccable organizational machine led by the president of ColleMar-athon Annibale Montanari and made up of over 300 volunteers.
