Substantial evidence, documented by video surveillance images, which leads to arson in the investigation into the fire that broke out in the warehouse in via delle Industrie in Aprilia. The firefighters immediately arrived on site to put out the flames in the industrial warehouse used as a logistics warehouse, made of concrete of approximately 1300 m2 and flanked, on one side only, by a metal shed of approximately 400 m2.
Near the structure there were some vehicles that were also hit by the fire.
The firefighters attacked the fire from several points with two teams, Central and Aprilia, and a third team from Pomezia, three tankers and Civil Protection volunteers, the entire device was coordinated by the guard responsibility unit of Latina who intervened on site together with the provincial shift manager.
The firefighting operations continued throughout the night.
Around 2 am the fire was declared under control and confined to the center of the structure.
Since 8 this morning the area affected by the flames has been made safe.
