The “No Limits” week in Rho was presented where sport becomes aggregation and inclusion

Rho – The “No Limits” Sport week has been officially presented, which will bring numerous sports disciplines and events dedicated to the entire community to the city, without exception. The watchword of the event will be “inclusivity” and the sports clubs have done their utmost to offer an adranline and fun calendar. From 20 to 26 May Rho will therefore be the city of Sport: “The thing I really like is the contamination that occurs during sports week – he told theSports Councilor Alessandra Borghetti during the press conference held on Friday 3 May at Villa Burba – On Saturday, for example, at the Biringhello cycling track, athletics and skating will be together, therefore three completely different clubs that however collaborate

An example that well represents the spirit of the initiative in which, as underlined by the Mayor Andrea Orlandi, involves all the city’s sporting entities which, however, for once, put aside their own shirt to wear a single “No Limits” shirt, the slogan chosen for this edition of the Sports Week. The identification shirt is blue with the number 7 in red which recalls the symbols of superheroes and summarizes the message of the week: wearing the No Limits shirt is an invitation to overcome the limits that everyone, if well directed, can cross by expressing their talents to the fullest. “It doesn’t matter whether you can give one, ten or a hundred: the important thing is that everyone does their part. There are no people without talents, everyone can make what they have available” underlined Orlando, sharing a lesson learned during his sporting past in the world of basketball.

Present at the press conference were the sponsors who support the initiative and who were given a plaque of thanks to underline the importance of collaboration between all the city’s entities including the productive ones, among them are: Acquaflex and then Sacchital, Sontex, Poliambulatorio Odontoiatrico by Luciana Sommariva, Lainauto, Panta Rei Rehab & Sports, Gil.

The program

The program is being finalized, but in the next few days the posters will be put up with all the useful information but what is certain is that a group race is scheduled for Sunday 26 May with the Running Rhoopen to all age groups, as Roberto Piva and Renzo Calegari recalled: “On that occasion we will present a expansion of running routes compared to existing routes – said Piva – Since 2014, at Molinello we have already had ten kilometers of internal ring for those with mobility difficulties, with the guarantee of insurance protection. An agreement between the Municipalities of Rho, Bollate and Arese, with local consortia and the Rancilio Foundation will lead to routes of 5, 10 and 15 kilometres, which will allow users to come from other centers in the area and enhance the riches of the area. QR codes will help you learn about everything in the area. Everything will then be inaugurated in September.” Renzo Calegari underlined the planned innovations: “Those who run or walk will be able to discover wildlife, history and culture, a modality that opens us up to international circuits”.

Another appointment already confirmed is the one with inclusiveness with the fencing club which is organizing activities dedicated to people with severe disabilities and with the sitting volleyball tournament.

Starting from the late afternoon of Monday 20 May, over 150 girls from rhythmic and artistic gymnastics clubs as well as cheerleaders will perform in Piazza San Vittore. Volleyball and basketball tournaments will follow throughout the week, archery tests, a 3-on-3 basketball match will be held at night and a conference on bullying is planned on May 23rd by Rhodense football. On Friday evening the Moto Club Rho will bring many other companies to the center and motorcyclists will be able to sign up. On Sunday, triathlon and karate competitions and, in Stellanda, a sitting volleyball exhibition. In the five-a-side football matches, a Rhodesian club will play the playoffs for the B series.
