World safety and health at work day in Terni: focus on prevention and training

On the occasion of the World Day of Safety and Health at Work, the closing event of the “Value to Work and Training” project was held at the Secci theater in Terni.

The initiative, born from the partnership between the Unla Cultural Center for Permanent Education and the Construction School – Cpt of Terni, aimed to highlight the importance of safety at work, arousing emotions with the show “Theatre saves life” by Stefano de Majo, born from a collaboration between Inail, regional management of Umbria, Tesef Terni and Cesf Perugia.

The Prevention and Safety at Work Service of Local Health Authority 2 contributed to the project from its inception by involving teachers and students from the city of Terni in a series of immersive and interactive training sessions on the topics of prevention and communication of good practices.

This event represented an event of great interest aimed at combating the unacceptable phenomenon of accidents at work.

The project truly gave substance to the saying “unity is strength”; in fact, there were many subjects who contributed, strengthening an already existing network of collaborations which saw the participation of: USL2, INAIL, Labor Inspectorate, Fire Brigade, local companies, professional association of engineers, trade unions confederals (CGIL, CISL, UIL), the President of the mechanical section of Confindustria Umbria, Confartigianato, Scuola Edile and, above all, teachers, tutors and students of the schools who took part in “Value to Work and Training”.
