JESI, 5 May 2024 – Jesina wins in Modena.
Not an easy match but there performance full of heart and determination in the end it made a difference.
Free Mancinelli and Sebastianelli, the men in the water of the Jesi team get off to a bad start, with Gioele Zannini out for a red card given “in our opinion, too hastily by the referee” – they comment at Leoncella’s house – and also ends up 4-2 down. Having returned to equal men, Jesina carries on, suffering until the end and releasing the scream of joy only 18″ from the end, with Ciammichetti which seals the final 10-8.
With the draw for Persicetana in Ravenna (13-13), the advantage points become you’re four days away from the endwith the direct clash in favor of the Granata, for the goal difference, in the direct clashes.
Next Saturday again away against Ravenna, a real “big killer”.
Mr Vastola is clear about the match and told us: “Hellish match where we had two final expulsions. We have been better than certain situations that have arisen but Jesina will manage certain dubious ‘decisions’ to say the least with even more determination, clarity and true and healthy competitive spirit, loyally and with even greater energy”.
