Torre del Greco, woman tries to strangle nurse in emergency room

He tries to strangle a nurse: terror at the Maresca hospital. It happened on the afternoon of Friday 3 May in the emergency room of the Torre del Greco hospital. The story is told on its social media page by “Hands off Hippocrates”, a reality that talks about the problems and often the attacks suffered by healthcare workers in the ward.

«Around 7 pm – it is written in a post – a patient in her forties shows up in the emergency room complaining dizziness: She is given a green code and placed on hold. During this wait, the woman hears another patient complaining from afar and begins to act as a “champion of justice” by railing against the healthcare staff, wishing death and threatening those present.”

«As usual – they continue from Hands Off Hippocrates – from words we move on to deeds and the 40-year-old attacks a nursetrying to put his hands around her neck, the young professional manages to dodge the attacker’s fury, but still receives a kick from the latter. The police were immediately alerted and identified the lady and proceeded with the report. We believe that now the woman’s dizziness has turned into a migraine at the thought of facing criminal proceedings!”.
