Buffoli opens the doors to innovation: the BlueTechDays are back

Two days entirely dedicated to innovation, in its most varied meanings and facets. Buffoli Industries will open its doors next Wednesday and Thursday for BlueTechDays, the third edition of the Open House in the BlueTechHub of the Brescia company (the first competence center for subtractive and additive technologies created in Italy by a private company), with offices between via Ferrini and via Tight.

Events

It will be a total full immersion in the latest generation technologies, with many events and initiatives scheduled, from technological tours to laboratories, up to practical workshops «The Workshops of Sustainable Innovation» and round tables on transition 5.0 and artificial intelligence. In technological tours it will be possible view numerous Buffoli machines, including the new Trans-Sphere for the processing and diamonding of spheres in different materials, the new flexible multicenters with suspended table, various bar machines configured to produce over 200 different items. Furthermore, flexible machines with rotating vices and over 40 three-axis spindles, transfers that integrate horizontal or vertical lathes, special machines for processing automotive parts and more.

the message

«The main message we want to send with this third Open House at our BlueTechHub is that Buffoli has created a place where innovation is constantly stimulated by comparison between various realitiesconsolidated companies and start-ups, primarily part of the Buffoli Industries group, but not only that”, underlines Francesco Buffoli, CEO of the Brescia company.

Wednesday, from 8.30 to 14.30experiential laboratories will be activated, organized by Csmt-Innovation Contamination Hub, in which various topics will be “tested first-hand”, such as process innovation with additive manufacturing, the use of AI chatbots for interactive querying of company documentation, quality control using artificial intelligence/vision and 5.0 transition, «which is added to 4.0, both understood in the full sense of the term and not just for the incentives that have been attached to them».

«The innovation here is truly 360 degrees, because it does not only concern the machines – continues Buffoli – but also the accessories that accompany them, the robotic systems, the numerical control, the related software, the maintenance services and the digital services… This vast innovation which defines in the broadest possible sense the world of transfer, which today strongly borders on the field of machining centers and lathes, is associated with Buffoli’s commitment in the field of additive manufacturing and quality control, also with the ‘contribution of partners who enrich the integrated offer of Buffoli Transfer to serve an international clientele” (the Group’s exports today are worth over 70% of the total turnoverwhich amounts to a total of 40 million euros).

The calendar of round tables is also tight, which will end on Thursday 9th at 5pm with the meeting «Artificial intelligence applied to the manufacturing industry», organized by Iobo, which will see the participation of the partners of BlueTechHub and Siemens Italia, during which some concrete applications, already available today, will be presented to increase the efficiency of company processes. To participate in the Open House you must be part of a manufacturing company and register on the site buffoli.com (events section) or write to the email: [email protected].
