It is operational Extraordinary fund allocated for income support of workers and employees who find themselves in conditions of economic hardship deriving, in addition to the failure to benefit from a social safety net, from the continuation of non-payment of monthly salaries.
The Fund, approved in recent weeks starting from the delicate case of the Delgrosso company, has a financial endowment of 800,000 euros.
Who can access
The measure is intended for workers whose employment relationship has been suspended or terminated for involuntary reasons from the second half of 2023 or during 2024 and who have not received, in whole or in part, remuneration in the three months preceding the relevant insolvency proceedings; who have not received social security/welfare benefits for this period.
The requirements for access are both residence and domicile in Piedmont.
Characteristics of the subsidy
The amount of the benefit, provided by Finpiemonte, depends on the worker’s ISEE bracket.
The “one-off” subsidy will in fact be proportional to the current ISEE according to the following bands:
– 2,000 euros with ISEE up to 10,000 euros
– 1,500 euros with ISEE between 10,000.01 and 20,000 euros
– 1,000 euros with ISEE between 20,000.01 and 35,000 euros
