Yesterday was a completely black and white afternoon. In the clubhouse of the stadium there was a youth sector party with many guests present and, as an exceptional guest star, the journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
This season there have been many positive notes for our youth sector, from the victory of the Primavera championship to the qualification for the final phase of the Under 15, 16 and 17 years. There is a fact that further certifies the work done: the Cesenaamong the Lega Pro teams, is the one that has sent the most players to the Lega Pro Under 15,16,17 representatives: 18 in total.
To open this beautiful day, together with Gianluca Di Marzioit’s Roberto Colacone, head of the youth sector: “For these kids, their dream is to make their debut with this shirt, they believe in this dream and always give their all to achieve it.” Immediately afterwards it’s Nicola’s turn Campedellicoach of Spring who just won the championship. In addition to talking about his team, the coach recounted the unforgettable moment of his debut in the first team with Cesenagetting excited and exciting all those present: “In my career I have also played in Serie A, but I felt the strongest emotion on my debut with Cesena. I had won a corner kick under the curve and hearing that support was an incredible thing.”
Surprisingly he was also called mister Tuscan: “I told the boys that the championship is not over because imagining an end to what we have created is difficult. A lot will remain of this vintage. There is a huge dream that unites all the Cesena boys, from the youth team to the first team: to continue wearing this shirt. From the first Italian Cup match against Bologna in August we understood that those boys we had chosen and who then continued with us in the first team were not to be considered young, but resources. They give freshness and carefreeness, sprint and grow quickly. And they do it with passion. There are many special moments. Finding one is difficult. Of the matches, perhaps I would choose the two against Gubbio. Then singing Romagna Mia under the Curva Mare is something unique and absolutely difficult to find again. Pierozzi’s goal against Pescara which sealed the promotion to Serie B left me speechless.”

Before coming here I was at Forlì, the news that Cesena wanted me was given to me by my father and when he told me I didn’t understand anything anymore, great” They are the words of Pieracciniconfirmed by David: “The choreography? I was on the bench and didn’t notice anything. My companions call me, I get up and am enchanted. I had chills. Someone told me to sit down, but I couldn’t. Playing for Cesena means sense of belonging, playing here means be workers because it is a gift to sweat. Having arrived in the first team with Piera is fantastic. Winning the championship is something that cannot be explained in words, then doing it in our stadium increases the emotion even more.”. Finally it’s the turn of Shpendi: “When I noticed the choreography they were preparing with Pescara I had shivers. That shows how much the city has understood everything behind it. Every time we enter the field we know we have to honor the dream we have had since we were children. Every match is a small fragment of that dream. The most exciting goal? The one with Ancona under the Curva Mare”.
