15:11:24 AVERSA. The Democratic Party and the 5 Star Movement must explain to the city of Aversa and to the centre-left voters the reasons which, inexplicably, led to the presentation of Filippo Panza of the M5S as mayoral candidate, putting aside the candidacy of Prof. Mauro Baldascino, ratified unanimously by all coalition forces with formal acts as early as April 25th.
The Politics that serves, as usual, intends to bring the issue to the public level and not confined to the few sitting around a table because in the end it will be the city that will pay for a lack of method, which further reduces the center-left’s field.
We do this because our questions, like those of other members of the coalition such as Aversa Progressista and Centro Democratico, all focused on knowing the method and logic that led, after a week of silence, to bringing the table together again in the last two days and proposing with insistence the candidacy of Filippo Panza, remained unanswered by the representatives of the Democratic Party and 5 Stars who sat at the table, in order: the city Commissioner of the PD Eugenio Marino, the provincial Commissioner of the PD Susanna Camussothe Regional Commissioner of the PD Senator Senator Antonio Misiani and the Provincial Coordinator of the M5S Giuseppe Buompane.
We have acknowledged that our legitimate questions cannot or do not intend to be answered, but we respond with the same deafening silence that led to the failure to communicate Prof. Baldascino proposed by the PD City Commissioner himself as the guarantor of the centre-left breakfast. The city commissioner of the PD, in fact, after the tiring work of creating a centre-left coalition in Aversa which converged on the mayoral candidate Baldascino, was in turn placed under commissionership together with the entire commissionerate chain of the PD in Campania by those currents that the same PD Secretary Schlein has repeatedly criticized and promised to fight.
With yesterday’s meeting, a month of work which had seen us laboriously co-protagonists was wasted, demonstrating once again a way of doing politics in complete contradiction with the founding values of the centre-left, giving priority to weights and logics that it is not known but that they are certainly not looking to face the right even in the local territories so vaunted in the Roman offices.
