Trento seeks European redemption
After winning the derby in the semi-final against Civitanova, Soli’s team reached the final against Jastrzebski Wegiel, themselves losing finalists of the last edition when the other Polish big team Zaksa won, for the third time in a row. Itas arrives at this event with a great desire for redemption after the surprising knockout in the Scudetto semi-final against Monza, and the subsequent defeat against Milan in the play-off for Champions League qualification. For this reason, even if they win against Jastrzebski, Itas will not participate in the next edition: the objective is therefore to leave it as champions and then return in the 2025/2026 season. Not only: Michieletto and his teammates also want to “avenge” the defeats in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 Champions League finals against Zaksa.
