AIRiminum 2014, the management company of the Rimini and San Marino International Airport, announced that as of 30 April, the increase in commercial passengers recorded in the first 4 months of 2024 compared to the same period of 2023 is approximately +23% and approximately +9% compared to the same period of 2019. The total passengers who “flew from Rimini” were more than 51 thousand with an overall load factor (LF) of 77% since the beginning of the year. Cagliari (operational since the beginning of the year) is the “top destination” with 11,407 passengers followed by Budapest (5,421 passengers) and Palermo (5,375 passengers). Ryanair represents approximately 62% of commercial traffic while Wizzair approximately 38%. Foreign traffic is approximately 67% (first market Albania with 37% and second Hungary with 11%), while domestic traffic represents approximately 33%. In the month of April alone, there were more than 27 thousand passengers with an increase of + 23% compared to April 2023 (a complete table of data is attached).
