The recent taekwondo championship for black belts, held in the prestigious Palazzetto dello Sport in Rome, featured black belt athletes from all over Italy. During the event, which brought together the elite of Italian taekwondo from 26 to 28 April, two young athletes of Maestro Diego Alcamo represented the school with determination and competitive spirit. Marti Gabriele, in the junior black belt + 78 kg category, achieved an honorable third place. Despite an ankle injury that limited her performance, Marti showed great resilience, earning the podium.

Alcamo Gioele, however, despite a notable effort, failed to place on the podium in the -51 kg category. However, the dedication and tenacity shown on the tatami has been a source of inspiration for many and bodes well for their future competitions. Maestro Alcamo’s technical team expressed great pride in the commitment and passion shown by the two athletes, wishing them a future full of success and satisfaction. The road to the podium is always full of challenges, but with the right preparation, determination and the support of a united community, every obstacle can be overcome. While waiting for the next sporting events, the Taekwondo Athlos association continues its journey, thanks to the experience acquired and the passion that has always distinguished her in the world of taekwondo.
