Rigged driving license exams, the Brescia investigating judge orders four precautionary measures

Easy driving license exams, four precautionary measures are triggered by the investigating magistrate of Brescia as part of a long investigation by the provincial police, traffic police and financial police. Four involved are under investigation for having set up a criminal association aimed at obtaining type B driving licenses and driver qualification cards (so-called CQC) for the professional driving of heavy vehicles for third parties.

Jonathan Locatelli ended up in prison, Annibale Gavazzoni and Antonio Governucci were placed under house arrest and Marianna Nervi was forced to report to the judicial police.

In the center a driving school in Verolanuovain the Lower Brescia area, and whose owner Jonathan Locatelli, who has three other driving schools, was arrested and is in prison. One million euros seized. A sophisticated system of cameras and earphones emerged that allowed members to pass exams to obtain a driving licence. There are over 60 people under investigation.

«The four driving schools linked to the same owner now in prison were the collection of aspiring truck drivers from all over Italy who came to the Brescia area to take the tests» explained the chief prosecutor of Brescia. «There are approximately 2 thousand suspicious licenses that we will analyze. Many licensed people don’t even know how to speak Italian.”

Those who took the exam wore microcameras connected to the outside and the answers were sent via earphone by a prompter resident in Naples and from this morning under house arrest. «There was a fixed price: they ranged from 2 thousand to 5 thousand euros» specified prosecutor Marzia Aliatis.
