The training and refresher activities by the Kronos Academy Association – Provincial Section of Salerno continue. The new meeting as part of the training and refresher course for volunteer staff, authorized by the Campania Region, thanks to the presence of Dr. SAVINO Simone, manager of ASL Napoli 3, made it possible to delve deeper into issues of fundamental importance in the context of the former rescue in case of accidents during hunting activities. The meeting is essential for acquiring basic knowledge for the staff responsible for carrying out supervisory activities, as well as examining specific topics in greater depth, such as:
– Basic Life Support: What it is and why you should know how to apply it;
– When and why to apply BLS procedures
– How to Intervene: the Chain of Survival
– Emergency call, the first thing to do
– How to apply BLS procedures
– Defibrillation – How to use an automatic external defibrillator
– Early intensive healthcare treatment
it also allowed us to delve deeper into BLS procedures, simulate a series of emergency interventions and in particular cardiac massage and artificial respiration, which are essential for stabilizing a person in the event of hunting accidents.
At the end of the meeting, as a sign of recognition, it was handed over to Dr. SAVINO a plaque of merit for the professionalism with which he treated and made very complex topics accessible to the students.
