Grosseto: “The scientist from Grosseto Oreste Piccioni architect of the birth of high energy physics”. This is the theme that the Prof. Marco Monaci will take place on Thursday 2 May at 5.30 pm for the Cultural Afternoons at Villa Donati in viale Manetti 7 in Grosseto.
As has been customary for more than two years now, the programs of this cultural initiative include at least one conversation that refers to important figures from our territory, to ensure that they are known in more depth, not only for their value in themselves itself, but above all for what they represented for the territory, and, as in this case, for the prestige given to our country also on an international level. In fact, for these characters, in a hypothetical school initiative where a space was dedicated to learning about local history, a special in-depth space should be dedicated. Often, however, after dedicating a plaque to them, which is bureaucratically due, unfortunately the memory is lost, the memory of what they were and represented and with it the sense of belonging, which is the value that makes the territory and its community the true, authentic, heritage.
The topic will not be treated in the expected way of experts, but in such a way that the figure of the character emerges and what needs to be remembered. For all this the organization is confident in heartfelt participation.
