Baby gang, the area committee167 applauds the commitment of the police and judiciary

«In the fight against organized crime and juvenile and juvenile delinquency, the collaboration between the judiciary and the police, to which we appealed a few weeks ago, has finally produced a tangible result as expected by the citizens of Barletta. An important step forward achieved thanks to the operations of the Barletta Railway Police first and the joint one between the same Specialty of the State Police and personnel of the local police station on May 24th against an organization that we can undoubtedly define as ‘Baby Gang’, a group criminal made up of minors and young people who have just turned 18″. «The Area 167 Committee wishes to express its applause and gratitude to all the institutions involved in this decisive and determined action which has already produced a clear reduction in reports from residents of the suburbs. This fact leads us to imagine that the group responsible for the unfortunate episodes that have occurred in recent months have been affected.

The criminal activities perpetrated by the ‘Baby Gang’ have created fear and insecurity among the residents of Zone 167 and have undermined the social fabric of our community. However, thanks to the perseverance of law enforcement and the judiciary, a significant setback was inflicted on this criminal organization.

We also want to underline the importance of continuing to support the authorities in their fight against youth crime and in general against any form of illegality that threatens the well-being of our community. Only through joint effort and close collaboration can we ensure a safe and prosperous environment for all residents.

We would like to extend special thanks to the prosecutors involved and in particular the Police Commissioner of the Province of Barletta Andria Trani, Dr. Alfredo Fabbrocini and to the Command of the Barletta Railway Police Station in the person of Inspector Nicola Amoroso who jointly committed every available resource to restore serenity to the Barletta community”.
