Interviewed by “TMW” Attilio Tesser spoke about various topics, including B and C.
Here are his words:
“B series? I thought Cremonese could get to second place directly, Como and Venice are having a great championship but I think the Venetians have something more. The calendars are quite balanced, the game will be played to the point. Are Spezia and Bari wobbling? What happened at Bari is incredible. Last year they lost Serie A at the last moment and going from promotion to the risk of relegation is truly sensational. The same goes for Spezia: it was thought they could play for the playoffs. It’s a bit reminiscent of Benevento and SPAL.”
«Palermo-Mignani? When you take over it’s never easy. Either make the turn immediately otherwise you may struggle more. Palermo will compete in the playoffs and has potential. We need a change of pace, three draws and a defeat are certainly not a good roadmap but Mignani knows the category and has played a leading role. He means there’s something else wrong. Serie C playoffs? The playoffs are a mini tournament. Anything can happen. There are some important teams, balance will reign supreme. In Group C there are teams with big names but they are not enough, for example it is unthinkable that Catania fought for the lower areas. Avellino and Benevento are strong. There is less talk about teams like Torres and Carrarese. In group A there is experience and quality.”
