Will be held Thursday 2 May 2024 at 10:00 am in the Council Room of the Municipality of Tito (Potenza) the press conference to present the new edition of “Lucania Classica Festival” promoted and organized by APS SMAC Creative Corner and BCS (Basilicata Concert Society) under the artistic direction of Valeria Veltro and Raffaele D’Angelo.

Now in its fourth edition the The 2024 festival, which will take place between May and August, features a rich and varied program with over 20 events in 15 municipalities in the Lucanian area and the exhibition of approximately 200 artists of national and international fame.

The concept of the “Lucania Classica Festival” since its first edition, in addition to promoting a qualitative and excellent artistic-musical heritage in the regional territory, intended not only for lovers of the genre, aims to combine renowned artists with young Lucanian talents who do not always have the opportunity to express their art in a territory like the Lucanian one which is unfortunately not free from critical issues both in the availability of spaces for use and in the organization of cultural events capable of enriching the unexpressed vocation of talents made in Basilicata .

During the conference in which the creators of the Festival and the Mayor of the Municipality of Tito, Graziano Scavone, will be present, the program for the event which will start on May 12, 2024 will be illustrated with the first event at the “Cecilia – Center for Creativity” by Tito (Potenza) with the participation of illustrious artists such as Bruno Canino (solo pianist), the Pugliese Philharmonic Orchestra, Gudni Emilsson (conductor), Raffaele D’Angelo (solo pianist) and Maria Giulia Milano (soprano).
