TRIESTE On Wednesday 1st May, in the Representative Hall of the Prefecture of Trieste, the ceremony for the delivery of the “Stars for Merit of Work” and the related patents granted by the President of the Republic, for 2024, to 23 new Masters of Labor of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The decoration of the “Stars of Merit for Work” is granted to workers employed by public and private companies as well as to workers employed by workers’ and employers’ trade union organizations and associations legally recognized at national level, which have distinguished themselves for their merits of expertise, industriousness and good moral conduct, have improved the efficiency of tools, machines and processing methods with inventions or innovations in the technical and production field, have contributed in an original way to the improvement of safety measures job security and have done their utmost to educate and prepare the new generations in professional activity.
In addition to the Prefect of Trieste, Pietro Signoriello, the ceremony will be attended by civil, military and religious authorities from the region.
