PESARO – Incomes in the province of Pesaro, analysis and considerations. The ranking drawn up by the agency illustrates the situation Mef and Sole24Ore.
Pesaro is in first place in the ranking of incomes declared in 2023 which refer to the year 2022. The average is Average 22,798 euros per capita and 887 euros more than in 2021 (+4.1%). An indicator of wealth on 74,720 taxpayers which brings Pesaro to fourth place in the regional ranking led by Numana.

The same goes in the hinterland where there are strong companies.” This is the case of Lunano where its 1020 taxpayers declared 20,754 euros each, recording a +6.3% equal to 1,238 euros. With Pesaro, Gradara and Lunano, Fano also exceeds 20 thousand euros with 22,288 euros (46698 taxpayers with +1036 euros equal to +4.9%), Urbino with 21,433 euros (10941 taxpayers with +807 euros equal to +3.9% ), Fermignano with 20,022 euros (6165 taxpayers, with +740 euros equal to a +3.8%) and Montelabbate with 20,185 euros (5062 taxpayers with +840 euros for a +4.3%).
Yet we talk about poverty. «We are talking about averages where even very high incomes are included, we need to see those who are below the poverty line and how many families live in economic difficulty. There are thousands of administered and given times in the province. We record difficult situations and an inflation that took away purchasing power». In fact, the Spi Cgil reports that two out of three elderly people are below the poverty threshold. It is estimated that 9.4% of families are in conditions of poverty and almost 10% are in conditions of relative poverty.
