In an interview given exclusively to our newspaper (and which we publish in the Monday paper edition), the vice president of Catania Vincenzo Grella touched on various topics after the end of the regular season and the qualification for the play offs thanks to the success in the Italian Cup .
Grella spoke of a team “capable of anything” for better or for worse: “But I’m optimistic, I look forward with confidence”.
The 20 thousand fans who filled the stadium for the match against Benevento are “our strength” reiterated Grella. And he added: “The players received support during the match, I understand the whistles at the end of the match and I also understand the motivation, linked to a discontent which is also ours. We expected to reach the last match not with the worry of a decisive victory to avoid the play outs.
Presence is too important a response to focus on the boos.”
The future of the club? Grella confirmed that the company will be strengthened with useful profiles and names to increase the activity and improve it.
