CARRARA – The opposition does not like the images proposed by the administration for the 2024 tourist campaign of our territory. At least Simone Caffaz, councilor of the mayoral Caffaz civic list, doesn’t like them. “The new tourist graphics of the Municipality of Carrara are truly a marvel – comments Caffaz ironically – You can see the beach, known throughout the world for its crystal clear waters and populated every year by hundreds of thousands of tourists who come from all over the world. world – he continues maintaining a sarcastic tone – You can see an unspecified town made up of very tall buildings, the famous skyscrapers of Carrara, surpassed in celebrity before 2001 only by the Twin Towers of New York. Simone Caffaz points out: “Rightly in this graphic we cannot see either artistic images or the infamous marble quarries frequented in ancient times by Michelangelo Buonarroti, whose presence should be erased as it has brought only harm and is not a source of any tourist attraction – he quips again – I don’t know how many thousands of euros this graphic cost, I’ll find out, but it’s certainly money well spent, also for the ingenious slogan: Carrara more unique than rare. More unique than rare for the crystal clear waters, the grandiose skyscrapers, the green and flowery hills and the ski facilities. Not for the quarries, the marble and the art, which we willingly leave to Pietrasanta as territorial marketing.”
