ANCONA – Arrest for theft and aggravated damage: 42 year old framed by remote alarm. In the early hours of yesterday morning, the Flying Squad Agents intervened in the Torrette area, following a report received on NUE 112 from the manager of the bar of a service station, who reported having noticed electronically that inside the premises there was an individual present. Having immediately arrived on site, the police found a man inside, who was clearly discovered and was trying to hide inside the bathrooms. Meanwhile he did not hesitate to attack the operators in order to escape. With no small difficulty he was blocked. Subsequently identified as an Egyptian citizen aged around 42, a check on his person revealed him to be in possession of burglary tools.

He consumed alcohol

From a subsequent and careful check of the room, the officers ascertained that the entrance door had been forced and the marks were clearly attributable to the use of the screwdriver in the man’s possession. Furthermore, a sensor from the alarm system had been removed, alcohol had been consumed and the office had been ransacked. Outside, in the workshop area, there were two cars, one with the front and rear doors open. The cockpits of both vehicles had been searched and the foreigner’s wallet was found in one of them. Inside, in addition to various papers, there was the receipt in his name for the residence permit. In the presence of the manager, viewing the images of the video surveillance system of that structure, the dynamics of the event and the responsibility of the arrested person were reconstructed.

Street notice Mandatory: Ancona prohibited for 3 years

The foreigner, taken to the Police Headquarters offices, once his exact identification had been carried out, was arrested for theft and aggravated damage and held in the security rooms available to the Judicial Authority awaiting the formal investigation procedure. During the hearing to validate the arrest, held in the morning, the Judge validated the man’s arrest, also imposing a residence ban on him. The Police Commissioner, giving an immediate response to protect the safety of the Ancona community, issued the prevention measure of the Mandatory Street Sheet against the Egyptian citizen, with an order to leave the Municipality of Ancone and a ban on returning there for a period of three years.
