The concerns are the long-delayed payments from the CAP, the increasing bureaucracy, the issue of large carnivores, the European policies that sometimes see the breeder as a polluter rather than a gardener of the territory. “There was a time when even in this field, there was an autonomist party”, comment Demagri and Dallapiccola. “He intervened, proposed and criticized. Today, however, he prefers to remain a silent ally of the center-right, sadly crouched, on a soft armchair, under the wings of the most anti-atonomist political duet ever seen in Trentino: the agreement between the League and the Brothers of Italy. To comment on the complaint of the farmers, patient custodians of the territory, in the eternal search for a decent income, we intervene as Casa Autonomia. The confirmed 30% increase in production costs, for example, makes it clear that Latte Trento’s good balance sheet does not concern two thirds of Trentino farmers and barely covers the increased company costs”.
With a series of political acts coordinated by Demagri “we tried to stimulate the Council to activate promotional actions to support consumption through adequate and captivating marketing actions. In delay, soulless and suggesting that you navigate by sight, after six years of uninterrupted government, on the occasion of the assembly the Province declared that it will activate a new, yet another table. In recent months the conference dedicated to mountain animal husbandry organized in San Michele by the Edmund Mach Foundation in close collaboration with the Provincial breeders’ federation of Trento And Concast Trentingrana reiterated that the future of the sector must be characterized by economic sustainability, social and environmental but also in enhancing the many functions that this sector performs valuable dairy products, environmental Protectionfrom the biodiversityof the landscapeof the tourism and of historical and cultural peculiarities.

With a shrinking CAP, a council that has always been disinterested in the sector, the only certain thing that won’t change is his troubles. And it’s really hard to think that the new wind of the upcoming European elections will bring anything good. In Trentino he governs a Salvini branch.
