Villa, third act shows Resistance focused on Calabria

Sunday 28 April, at 6.00 pm as part of the exhibition “The Resistance of Memory: The Calabrian Partisans”, organized by Socio-cultural association Pialesi Bridgesthe third appointment will be held at the MuMe – Museum of Piale Memories in Villa San Giovanni The Resistance in the South: Calabria; a moment of in-depth analysis, with unpublished aspects on the liberation of Italy, curated by Rocco Lentini of the Educational Commission of the National Institute Ferruccio Parri which, through a series of period documents and films, offers a reinterpretation of the events linked to the Allied landing on the continent –Operation Baytown– of 3 September 1943.

The exhibition, curated by the architect. Adele Canale it is enriched by the unpublished works of Reggio artists Rocco Caricato And Davide Ricchetti and from the historical research carried out by the students of the IIS “Nostro-Repaci” and IPALB “Giovanni Trecroci” schools of Villa San Giovanni and of the ITT “Panella-Vallauri” of Reggio Calabria.

The exhibition will be open to visitors from 21st to 30th April (except for the 25th) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Reservations required for visits by schools and groups outside established times.
