Technologies for the wood and furniture supply chain

Just over a month after the ribbon cutting, the game is over and Xylexpo is preparing to be, once again, a point of reference in the international panorama of trade fairs: over 260 exhibitorsof which 33 percent from abroad, will animate the approximately 25 thousand square meters exhibitions of the event, in pavilions 1 and 3 of FieraMilano-Rho (Porta Est or Metro).

From 21st to 24th May it will therefore be possible to learn about the state of the art of the international offer of technologies for the wood and furniture supply chain: “A particularly important occasion – commented Dario Corbettadirector of the event – in light of the recent measures related to “Industry 5.0″. As is known, Italian companies will be able to take advantage of tax incentives that can reach up to 45 percent of the investment, provided that this reflects certain characteristics in terms of digitalisation but above all – and here lies the novelty – sustainability”.

A particularly interesting circumstance for all Italian exhibitors and visitors in an Italian market which, let’s not forget, is worth more than one billion euros.

Xylexpo will therefore be an important moment both for the exhibitors, who will have the opportunity to show how and to what extent their technologies are now updated in terms of “sustainability”, and for the visitors, who will in turn be able to learn about the new technological level to which even the woodworking machines are called.

Xylexpo

The international biennial exhibition of woodworking technologies and components for the furniture industry returns in May. Once the health emergency is over, the exhibition resumes its historical location, in the Milanese spring, from 21 to 24 May 2024.

An event – promoted by Acimall, the association of Italian manufacturers of machines and tools for woodworking – which has been on the agendas of operators in the sector since 1968, because it offers a complete vision of the world of woodworking, best interpreting the evolution towards sustainability and digitalisation.

Recognized as the world’s fair for high technology for woodworkingXylexpo will be the starting point of the innovation cycle that will characterize the two-year period 2024-2026, reiterating its desire to preview the innovations that companies decide to propose to an audience of highly qualified operators.

A showcase that doesn’t just tell the story excellence of “made in Italy”but is open to offering solutions, technologies, tools and equipment from international exhibitors who know they will find in Milan a privileged opportunity for contact and business with the Italian market, among the most relevant (apparent consumption: 1,124 million euros in 2022) and advanced in the world, and a strong projection on European markets. A review that sees a share of foreign visitors close to 25% of the total.
